Our company aims to be a leader in the field of sustainable development among Ukrainian manufacturers, so we have decided to use solar panels to power our production facilities. Solar panels provides us for up to 20% of our total electrical consumption. This makes our production less dependent on traditional energy sources and allows us to save costs of utilities.
The scenic landscape around the Yarych production facility caused active discussions against the idea of installing solar panels for quite some time. However, at the end of 2022, due to the significant increase in the price of electricity, the project was launched.
In November 2022, the Yarych production facility signed a contract with the engineering and installation center TEPLOCEL. Construction and installation work began on February 16, 2023. In a little more than a month the system had generated its first kilowatt of electricity!
